HEMOCELL (Xlent Dental)
HemoCell is a water-soluble hemostatic gauze derived from regenerated cellulose.
When applied to a wound, HemoCell interacts with blood and activates the blood clotting system. It coagulates and expands into a gel that adheres to the surface while applying pressure on the wound to stop bleeding and seal the wound.
HemoCell has enough tensile strength to protect and keep most wounds and lacerations together in order to minimize blood loss.
Hemostat products have a wide variety of applications that span multiple medical specialties and many venues of care.
