The Damit Post Dam Membrane is one of Affordable Dental Products most popular items. As the name suggests it closes off the back of the dental impression tray preventing the impression material from running down the back of the throat. It also forces the material up around the teeth and into the peripheral fold.
Damit is a micropore membrane which becomes part of the dental impression. Placing dental wax across the back of an impression tray is a speed bump compared to damit which creates a fence. Use Damit around your 3-1, triple tray impressions to create support for the impression material. Damit is compatible with alginate, VPS and Ether impression materials.
For pennies per application you will save on impression material, take more accurate impressions and be more comfortable for the patient.
